The Economics Unit of the Athens Institute, will hold its 21st Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy and Applications, 29-30 June & 1-3 July 2026, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Business & Economics.

The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers of all areas of economics and other related disciplines. Sessions will be organized along the lines of the Journal of Economic Literature Classification Index (Please link to AEA webpage for subtopics):

General Economics and Teaching; History of Economic Thought, Methodology, and Heterodox Approaches; Mathematical and Quantitative Methods; Microeconomics; Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics; International Economics; Financial Economics; Public Economics; Health, Education, and Welfare; Labor and Demographic Economics; Law and Economics; Industrial Organization; Business Administration and Business Economics; Marketing; Accounting; Economic History; Economic Development, Technological Change, and Growth; Economic Systems; Agricultural and Natural Resource ; conomics; Environmental and Ecological Economics; Urban, Rural, and Regional Economics; Miscellaneous Categories; Other Special Topics. You may participate as panel organizer, presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer. Consistent with the theme of the Athens Institute’s small academic events, all programs may include a few sessions on current topics in education and research.

Please include: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Current Position, Institutional Affiliation, an email address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
