Raport EY: Kultura, sztuka i szeroko rozumiana branża kreatywna jako sektor gospodarki, to ponad 7 milionów miejsc pracy i 4,2% PKB całej Unii Europejskiej. Branża kreatywna z przychodami ponad pół biliona EUR (535,9 miliardów) to jeden z ważniejszych sektorów gospodarki Unii Europejskiej. W ramach branży najaktywniejsze były 3 obszary: sztuki wizualne, reklama oraz telewizja. W sumie w 2012 r. odpowiadały one za ponad połowę wszystkich przychodów – wynika z raportu EY „Kultura jako źródło wzrostu gospodarczego w Unii Europejskiej. Analiza rynków kreatywnych”.
